Château Blagnac

Château Blagnac is part of the recently redeveloped plots on Hanteillan estate. Located at an altitude of 15 metres, the 15-hectare vineyard is planted on the limestone massif of Saint-Estèphe, with a terroir of white marl, clay and Miocene sand. The Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines are, on average, 15 years old.

Château Fonpiqueyre

Château Fonpiqueyre, established in 1868, is located in Saint Sauveur, just one kilometre from Château Liversan. Named after the stream that runs by the vineyard, Château Fonpiqueyre is symbolized by the ancient Saint-Sauveur wine cellar, adjacent to the Liversan property. The Lapalu family acquired the property in 1995.

The vineyard is located at an altitude of 15 metres and enjoys a temperate, oceanic climate. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines are planted on the gravelly plateau on limestone subsoil. They grow on sandy-gravelly soils. The terroir is highly porous, and favours rooting.

A classified Cru Bourgeois since 2011, the wine is slightly more supple in style with remarkable structure, dominated by Merlot and matured for 20% in new barrels, to produce aromatic, harmonious wine.

Château Laborde

Château Laborde, owned by Catherine Blasco, extends over 15 hectares of land adjacent to Saint-Estèphe appellation (sharing the characteristics of this AOC).

The vineyard is located at an altitude of 15 metres, in the town of Cissac. The vineyard enjoys a temperate, oceanic climate, further accentuated by the nearby estuary. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines grow on a terroir dominated by gravel and clay-gravel, on the limestone shelf of Saint-Estèphe. Château Laborde produces wines which are structured and concentrated in style, with an authentic Saint-Estèphe accent. The winery is located in one of the wings of Château Hanteillan.

Château Lacombe Noaillac

Built in 1834, the estate is located in northern Médoc, in the towns of Jau Dignac and Loirac. Ideally located between the Gironde estuary and the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, the vineyard enjoys a temperate, oceanic climate, and is the Médoc’s northernmost vineyard.

Jean-Michel Lapalu, son of Claude Lapalu, bought the property in the late 1970s. He reorganised the vineyard between 1979 and 1982, before entrusting its management to Antoine Moueix Propriétés, in 2016.

The 26-hectare vineyard is planted on a terroir of fine Garonne gravel from the Quaternary period, efficient in draining off excess water, at an altitude of 18 metres, with a marked maritime influence.

Château Leboscq

Château Leboscq is located in Saint Christoly, on the banks of the Gironde. “Leboscq” means “highest point”, in the local Medocan dialect. The 30-hectare estate is built on a gravelly hillside, at an altitude of 20 metres on the banks of the Gironde. Despite its north-Médoc location, the vineyard offers very early maturing times for the vines. The vineyard is planted on deep gravel soils. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc enjoy a temperate, oceanic climate, greatly influenced by the nearby estuary. Certified High Environmental Value Level 3, and ISO 14001 since September 2017, wine growing here is sustainable, with the limited chemical inputs and soil tillage.

The Lapalu family acquired Château Leboscq in 1972, before entrusting management of the estate to Antoine Moueix Propriétés in 2016.

Château Lieujean

Lieujean manor, established in 1868, is located in the town of Saint-Sauveur, near Pauillac and the first Grands Crus Classés. The Lapalu family acquired the estate in 1999. Since the 19th century the estate has been producing a Médoc with strong character, drawing its personality from the terroir. The vineyard is located on a terroir of fine clay and sandy gravel at an altitude of 15 metres, bringing great finesse and freshness to the wines. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot which compose the 40-hectare vineyard, enjoy a temperate, oceanic climate, thanks to the nearby ocean and Gironde estuary.
